Got my 2000 TJ about a year ago. The interior lights, left your lights on buzzer, left your keys and buzzer, have never worked. Last night I stopped to get gas and after I shut it off all of the interior lights worked as well as the buzzers. Only problem is they won’t shut off. What is going on? Also the gas gauge has been working on and off. I checked the battery it is good. What else and where can I look for an issue?

I would examine all the grounding wires attached to both dash mounted speaker fastening screws and the ground wiring harnesses in the footwells beneath the dash board for loose or oxidized connections.

Electrical can be tricky. I suggest that you take it to a good professional who can do electrical. A lot of the issues that you are talking about come through the ignition switch and the instrument cluster. With interior lights, it could be as simple as a faulty door switch. With keyed warning buzzers it is the ignition switch and maybe the instrument cluster which really needs to be addressed by a professional.

Door switches are inexpensive and easy yo replace. I would start there. Especially, it seems, the driver's side.
