Mysterious Receptacles Under Dash?

Greetings Everyone!

I got my first TJ and while poking around I noticed a T10 wedge light bulb receptacle under the driver's side dash area towards the center console that seems to do nothing and a 2-pin connector under the passenger's side below the glove box. Any idea what these do?

I put a bulb in there and couldn't get it to turn on. What am I missing?

The T10 receptacle is different than the globe-type bulb that is behind the plastic cover that is screwed onto the dash that turns on when turning on the dome light.

It’s missing or never had the grey plastic receptacle for the bulb,get a couple from a yard.
