@Wranglerfix has been doing a great job with PCMs for years - everyone knows that.

I have been very fortunate to get a beautiful black LJR that Blaine has graced, and it really only had one thing that bothered me- the overdrive final drive is a buzzkiller as we all know. Now in truth, it is tolerable if geared correctly, but if you ever drove the older autos you know how much the 42 RLE hurts getting the power to the rear wheels. And if you pay attention to that it just bugs you.

I was talking with Mark and he wanted me to try his latest PCM with new engine management parameters and shift points-

It immediately made this jeep fantastic. It shifts so smooth, has much better power and acceleration and runs down the road 65-70 with very little throttle applied.

This LJR is my pride and joy...his PCM really rounded out this rig. I am extremely happy and love Mark for getting me to try this.

I really think we’re at the point that you don’t have to have a PCM failure to justify purchasing a PCM-

Rather than waste all sorts of money on meaningless power upgrades, etc... his PCMs are a good solid purchase. You can shelve your stocker and you are going to enjoy your jeep even more.

I can’t help but think I’m going to get better mileage and just can’t get over how unbelievably smooth the engine runs and the transmission works.

Thanks Mark-

Andy

Bro, that’s one good looking rig, so clean.

Wow, so Mark's tune on the PCM made it run better even with 5.38 gearing? You have 35" tires right? I might have to consider having that done to mine!

It sure did Jerry. It really surprised me. It hums like a sewing machine, and I think he has gotten 3rd and overdrive to work better together somehow- you know instantly when you drive it. Shifts so smooth you feel like it’s a 6 speed auto. No urge to kill the overdrive now.

Oohh man that sounds good I'll have to look into it!

Jerry I wish I knew how to better describe things- And I don’t want to speak out of turn but I think I know Mark well enough to know that he would send you one and let you run it and see what you think.

Also I’m not sure if my jeep was just a tad down on power or something- it woke it up.
