Preformed hose for Dana 44 front locker

This hose seems to be on its last leg and disconnects very easily. 2005 Rubicon with Dana 44 front axle. Is this normal or should I replace if I can find the part?

It's been that way for 20 years. Re-tie it with your own wire.

Part number is 5083664AA. It’s discontinued. If the hose is soft, replace it with 3/16 fuel hose.

IIRC, regular 3/16 fuel line won't fit through the oem fuel line clamp.
Small engine fuel line (usually clear) will fit.

I'm more concerned about the ring gear. Is that a crack in the first picture?

That does look like a crack, for sure something to look into
