Hey I’m really sorry to hear that and I hope you’re OK.

Your post gives me the indication that you are making it OK and can smile man. That is good.

Yeah Thanks Andy ! I have many good friends that said they hope I never lose my since of humor and I guess I will not. After about a month of crying I just couldn't cry any more. Happened last October so it is still fresh , work helps and I'm making progress . She was younger than me and I was just not prepared for her to die before me. I have all her large family here that looks out after me and our daughter and her husband.
My family is in Texas and I am going out there in June and stay with my cuz Michael , he is a single Dad of a 2 year old and a good bit younger than me. Don't know what my good Lord and savior has planed for me but when I moved out here I left it in his hands and he led me to this beautiful angel Janet. I guess we will see ! Thanks my friend for the kind words .......Will

I took advantage of the nice weather and installed a Rough Country leveling kit to restore the front of the jeep back to level. It was sagging from the weight of the winch I installed previously. Easy install on the level kit. Had to use spring compressors just a little to get the springs back in once the spacers had been installed.

Once the sun goes down, I'll adjust the headlights to compensate for the slight lift.

Keeping those connections is the best thing to do. You’re going to be ok.

He performed a Cat Scan

I think I may have found the Holy Grail of door panel repair-

View attachment 516075

First it is designed for a wide variety of similar plastics and designed to hold up under extreme stress and cure quickly-

But most importantly it has the mesh which allows you to strengthen the crack after you drill a hole at the end to make sure it won’t progress.
Is this for the crack at the window area (sort of by the side view mirror) that runs done the panel? If so please post the progress, I’ve been wondering what to do with that small crack. I’ve been thinking of drilling a little hole in hopes that will stop it from progressing.

Sorry to hear. Those things can certainly affect your life. Keep your chin up and continue to focus on the positives things in life.

Yes , or the angle crack a half door gets- not pretty but worked great. Pic is back of panel, mesh is embedded.

Thanks for the update. Do you think a small hole, 1/16” or close will help it from spreading? That is what I’ve heard in the past.

Absolutely. I think it’s the best thing you can do before the repair. The crack doesn’t know what happened.

What was the issue with it? I got a Bestop Trex Top from Amazon that I'm hoping to put on this week.
