What did you do to your TJ today?

Pulled out the rear wheel well liners and cleaned them up and waxed them with Meguiars Ultimate Black.
Wow! They're like new.
Would the front ones come out like this?

The fronts (at least mine did) have a small soft rubbery material. It's flimsy but it can come out. Not sure if it can easily be cleaned though.

Reactions: Kiwi TJ and Danarch
Jeep was really low on gas when I parked it a few days ago. I went to start it and it turns over good, just won't start. I added 3 gallons of gas and still nothing. I poured some gas in the TB and it tried to start, then choked to a stop. I can't really hear the fuel pump either. This is a bad time to quit because I can't work on anything until my back heals. Getting it towed and paying someone isn't an option right now either since I've been unemployed for 10 months now. Any guesses or things to check that a handicapped guy can do? :(

Got the wheels properly torqued and balanced. Big thanks to Blaine for teaching me how to install beadlocks.

Planning to install them later this week after I replace some wheel studs that were previously damaged by Discount Tire.

We need to get a trail run together and go scratch the hell out of those.

That sucks. Is it in a place where you or someone could try roll/push starting it? Some motor momentum might help keep it running. Some higher octane fuel might help too.
If it’s the fuel pump I thought I read that you can disconnect the fuel line at the rail while you activate the pump to see if it is delivering fuel.

I can't imagine my vehicle dumping a stack trace to the radio screen...

Although I really really really need Tesla to be successful for reasons that are covered by an NDA.

Speaking of Tesla (and other vehicles), it will be a VERY LONG TIME before I trust a hands off the wheel, self driving car with my life and those of my passengers. I once had a rental BMW with that feature and it terrified me every time I turned it on. It would go over the center divider line and the right side of the road. 😤🫣

Finally time to swap the hard top for the bikini and the full doors for half doors. Took a short cruise, and remembered why I love these things. They are still fun buttoned up, but wayyyyyy better when you open em up and let em breathe.

I just swapped the relay a few minutes ago. I had my wife turn the ignition on while I listened for the pump. Nothing. I might just wait until I can fix it myself. Delphi pump is $130. I would have to have it towed to my mechanic 15 miles away ($90). then pay my mechanic to do it. I hate paying people to do easy jobs.

Looks like my 21 year old pump went bad with no warning. No pressure at the fuel rail either.
