Pulling the side windows off is what I use them for

I tried pulling on mine once and it fell off. Next time I put that top on, I'm cutting them all off. Like the way the top looks, annoys me to take the windows out and back in!
Isn't that the point of having any soft top?
Hell, most of the time I use mine as a safari top during the summer... doors and windows are all gone, and the trail cover is on when it is parked when it rains...
I think those are to remove the side windows while driving in the woods. Something is sure to grab them as you drive by. Similar action as early Jeep door handles
Agreed! I've been rolling around with the safari top/no doors for the last couple months. I've been waiting for a warm day to fit the rest of the top as practice and to make ready to go if I need it. It's coming off in a couple days after break-in.
