Has anyone used wranglerfix.com for replacement PCMs?

The manual pcms are no longer back ordered as we have figured out yet another solution with a 2-3 day turnaround. I will be making a video over the weekend on this and other exciting news!

Can’t wait for that. Post it in a new thread here so we don’t miss it!

When you say no longer backordered, you don’t mean that Mopar actually started making new ones, do you?

I believe he is saying there is not a 2 week wait period as there was previously. The automatic pcm he stocked but manual took a couple of weeks on turn around.

Oh, okay. I thought maybe by some glimmer of hope Mopar decided to make a new run of them!
It seems that it would make sense business wise. The amount of trouble that Tjs have in the 05/06. That and the amount that people end up paying for a refurbed one that we hope corrects the problem. When you look at other pcms from different years it makes you want to cry when you see that you can purchase one for a fraction of the cost.

Yes, I hear you. I had a spare PCM for my 2006 manual, but since I replaced it with a 2003 manual, I traded the PCM to Mark for a replacement PCM for my 2003. From what I can tell, it's a lot easier to get the early PCMs, especially for manuals.

Even these old PCMs will have issues at some point. The capacitors and other stuff start to leak over time just from age, and I suspect at some point someone is going to actually have to address the PCM issue beyond just pulling replacements from wrecked vehicles.

Ive thought about extending my wiring harness so I could get my pcm out from under the hood. Idea place would be locating it behind glove box. That way it wouldn’t have the stress from the heat. I feel that’s a big factor in the pcm problems.

Yes, the heat will definitely degrade things faster I would think.

Hello guys coming at you from Oklahoma. Quick question about the company wranglerfix.com. Has anyone used them or have any knowledge of their work. I have a 2006 TJ 4.0 with manual transmission. I was getting all 4 02 sensor codes along with intermittent stalling issues. The problem would stop during the cooler months only to return during summer. I read several reviews about wranglerfix.com fixing the 05/06 pcm problems with hard shifting but not many about issues with manual transmission. If you have or know anyone that has experience with them please let me know. Thank you
Yes, I just received my PCM a few weeks ago, it was the easiest Job I ever did on the Wrangler. I just did a write up on my exxperience with the company, and the owner, Mark Cantrell. It immediately fixed my problem, and Mark is a good guy, and as honest as they come... Highly Recommended.

I've went through 3 PCMS with them and am now requesting a 4th. They do not hold up or last and now it's like pulling teeth to get them to call me back or make this right. Same "protocol" same tech questions, sent out wrong PCM one time. The last one I had lasted 6 months and thats the best I've ever gotten out of them. So now my 15k 2002 wrangler is a yard ornament. Good luck and beware

You sure you don't have electrical issues causing the PCM to fry?

I'm sure @Wranglerfix will chime in soon enough.

Sounds like someone trolling against wranglerfix to redirect business to some other pcm supplier/tuner. No one here has had issues anything remotely like this, and wranglerfix reportedly always has excellent customer service.

Good morning Mr. Ellis. You called us 1/2 an hour ago. I haven't had the chance to call you back, yet. I literally get on the phones a minimum of 12 hours a day, if not more, 7 days a week. I am always calling everyone back because that's the way I run my business and I do it in the order of first come first served. I understand your frustration, but I believe that your post is unreasonably unfair.

I'd like to get to the bottom of your PCM issue that you purchased in 2022.

With regards to your PCM, I suspect that your P0306 code is coming from something outside of the PCM and it is shorting the PCM. The odds that 3 PCMs are going bad is a statistical anomaly. I am not saying that it is not possible, I am just saying it isn't plausible. We will get to the bottom of it, either way. I will also send you recommended fixes for your Jeep that will help you locate the issue in your vehicle. Please ensure that they are checked and repaired before installing the 4th PCM.

We have you or someone with the same name as you listed as someone who purchased a PCM for a different year Jeep in November of 2023...I believe that that one was a 2010 Jeep. Please send in the PCM for the 2002 together with a copy of the email that you would have received with the invoice when you purchased the PCM. The address to return the PCM will also be in that email.

We take great care to ensure that our customers are satisfied. Looking forward to helping you make your "yard ornament" into a road-worthy Jeep.

Wrangler fix help me out with a new computer. My '06 automatic TJ had O2 sensor issues and laundry list of problems all being caused by the computer. I got another computer from Wrangler fix. Plug and play simple as insulation ever. It's been some years now and my TJ is been running flawlessly.

Well, you got your response! 😜

"I've went through?"

Your credibility became suspect with your first sentence, literacy and intelligence as well.

The fact that you joined the forum just to make this your first post doesn't help.

. . . it's like pulling teeth to get them to call me back or make this right.

You must have loose teeth.

The owner of the company typically responds within 24 hours, same day if he can. In the case of your post to the forum, he responded with a copy of his email to you in less than one hour.

As it turns out, your first post on this forum left all of the inconvenient facts out of your tale of woe. Wranglerfix isn't shipping you bad ECMs, you are frying the ECMs they send you.

Fix your jeep before you cast any further blame.
