There used to be one of those about four blocks away from me, albeit a 2wd version. It was in super nice condition, and the guy owned it for years. It finally went away about eight years ago. What a cool looking rig!

I always liked the old Chinook camper design. They have gotten popular recently and demand a high price now if in decent shape. The fact that this one is a 4WD model does make it very unique and I'd guess priced out of most of our price ranges.
It'd be fun to have one that was modernized on the inside. And maybe a little tweaking to the drivetrain too.

I met Paul Le Mat (John Milner) at a car show back in the mid-to-late 90s. Autographed a picture of the coupe for my son. Great guy! Candy Clark (Debbie), on the other hand, was a huge disappointment. I heard her tell the guy next to me "I don't see what the appeal is. I mean, it's just a stupid car movie." Like I said, a huge disappointment.
