What are good LED headlights for my TJ?

So you’re using LED in your Hellas or did I read that wrong?
No.. Maybe I missed the flow of the earlier posts.. I was using Hella bulbs in a Toyota/Koito H4 light kit. I tried a few LED bulbs but they all sucked. Prior to the H4's I tried a few inexpensive LED headlights and hated all of them. Maybe I am a light snob.

I pulled the H4 kit and switched to the Holley Retro Brite LEDs. Love them.

Good to hear. They seem solid from recent posts ive looked at. I didnt want to change up the look too much
Superb lighting. Great pattern. Choice of temperatures. And period correct look. I didn't care for any of the modern looking or bug-eyed LED headlights on a twenty-four year Jeep. You can't tell the Holleys are LED even if you get right up to them. Only giveaway is the daylight temperature.

From a while back when first installed...

Wow, that’s a big difference in color alone. They look great. What are you thoughts on dark spots with them?

Choice of colors.. warm incandescent if that's your thing (same as the H4 pictured above) or daylight, which is what I have. You can swap out the light module (Made by Morimoto) if one should burn out or if you want to change the color. The lens is made by Phillips.

If you mean pattern/coverage? I don't have any brick wall shots to show the cutoff but they are nice and clean. High to the right and cutoff low to the left.

This is low beams...

This is high beams. Low beams stay on when high beams are turned on.

I have a set of Hella 500FF H3 driving lights that are aimed right up the middle. Rarely need or use them but I do occasionally. I read some concerns about the lack of heat from the LEDs being an issue with snow and ice so I thought an aux set of H3's might be wise. As it turns out, I have had no issues with the LEDs.. two or three North East winters so far.

Plug and play right?

Like I said.. I have zero regret with spending the money on them. Love them. I think you will too. Plug-n-Play. I left the Koito HD harness installed only because it was more a pain to remove, but they are totally plug-n-play with stock harness. LEDs are really low draw.

I did put X-Pel or maybe it was Lamin-X headlight film on them just to protect them. Took five minutes and had no issue with the raised Holley logo on the lens. A couple of seconds with a hairdryer and the film sucked in pretty tight around the logo. Ignore the bug remains...

Ive been playing with hi intensity headlight conversions for 21 years. HID, LED, etc

Im running these in a 78 Camaro for a few years so I bought them for the Jeep also. Im sure we can find things to nit pick about every option, but diminishing gains rule applies

They work great for my purposes @~$70

Maybe.. Maybe...
Can't get over the look of them. Just wrong for a 25 year old Jeep. Just my $0.02

I've had KCs for several years. Love 'em. Wicked bright. Maintains the stock look&feel. Solid American brand. Well worth the cost.

Cant get over the look either. Just happy we have options to decide what works for our own jeeps. I also think headlights are one of the few things worth paying for

I see headlights for over $500 that don't do anything better than much less expensive ones IMO. I need to see clearly on back roads to avoid hitting critters. My job has depended on it for 33 years. To each their own. That's why there's a million choices.

My kc’s in the wife’s jeep are really noisy when the radio is on on low beams, went with the yota lights on the LJ, just affordable.
