What did you do to your TJ today?

Washed my Jeep today.

For you ham radio folks, I posted this on QRZ but thought Jeeper Hams would like to see this too.

Okay, this was me playing around today. Here is my "shack" this morning after I checked into the Noontime Net. This is using a Wolf River coil, an MFJ 1979 extended a couple of inches from the ceiling, with an Rg58 running to my Icom 718. You can see in the radio pic at the rear left, the red and black lines that have clamps to my Jeep's battery.

The antenna mount is an so-239 mounted next to my normal daily use NMO connector that goes to my Kenwood 281 in the Jeep.

So, for all the OCD people who worry about making their antennas and setups perfect, well, sometimes ya just gotta get on the air.

What are you up to cutting the fenders? Installing some aftermarket fenders and flares? This I gotta see

Just a cheaper way to get flat fenders. Nothing special. Setting for a locog build once my plan starts coming together.

Also going for a look like tubesock from dirt everyday. I know it has a Chris Durham hood but I can’t afford that lol.

Tubesock is one nice looking jeep. Wish I could put a diesel in mine.
