Post pictures of your Spiderweb shade

What about a dog harness? You could rig up a strap that attaches to the seat belt.

Plus that’s safer for the dog.

When you have your dog riding with you, is the rear seat in or out?
My back seat is out. But there are three dogs, and they just rampage back there on the bed tred so they stay out of our way up front. It works since they seem to submerge themselves in every body of water they can find when we take them anywhere!

I don't usually take out the back seat. Why do you ask?

I was thinking if the rear seat was out, that would allow the dog more room. Plus your dog would be sitting deeper inside the tub. Might make it harder to for him to jump out.

But then again, depending on his size, your dog won’t be able to see out either.

If your dog is small enough it'll still be able to sneak out at the bottom of the wheel well, or the gap between the upper portion of the tailgate and the Spidy shade.

So I got my SpiderWebShade cage today. I’ve been messing with it tonight. I can’t seem to get the rear section adjusted right.

On yours, does your head hit the shade when sitting in the rear seat?

Don't know. Never sat in the back seat to see. Sorry.

My dtr is 12 and 5'3" her head brushes the shade. It follows the roll bar so not much you can do about it.

My little yappers are Chihuahuas. One would never leave the Jeep, the other looks for an escape route, seat or not. They both climb all over the interior. I may have to attach some screen material to the bottom part of the nets.

I have the LJ Spidershade in my TJ, so it gives more coverage for the rear passengers. Of course, as you note, because the shade, or cage in this instance, is attached via the roll bar, it follows it and can interfere with the back of your head if you’re tall enough. For kids it works fine. I’m thinking around 5 ft tall and it starts to be a problem.

I think I like it. When I drove it to work this morning, I noticed that it was quite a bit quieter.

I like the white jeep, but please help me understand..... why all these shades?
To eliminate wind shear for kids in the back seat

I also have the Alien shades on both my TJs but it is only in front seats (driver and passenger) hidden between roll bars. My kids love to ride at the back where there is no shade, wide open to the sky. I just drive the jeep slower when they are with me.

The perpetrators. Enzo on the left is the culprit...

I think the other guy, Ignacio, on the right, tossed him over the side. He looks guilty.

Mine love it too, to a point. Driving on the fwy for 2+ hours getting wind blown loses it luster fairly quickly. Mine is the LJ version so it has better coverage for the rear passenger area. One sunburn was enough for the kids.

I ordered the Krawler version to run up front to give me a little more coverage, but not impair my rear view when I have the soft top up. My plan was to use the TJKini when the top was down and my pup in the back, and keep the Krawler version on all the time up front.

I ordered it from Q-tech. It came in today, and it was the wrong one. It was labeled as the "Krawler" but when I tried to install it, it was the longer "TJ" shade.

Can't blame Q-tech on this one cause Spidy shade mis-packaged it. Made a call to them and they are sending me another one. Hope they don't have a whole batch a mis-packaged ones.
