I am planning on heading out to see this TJ after a bit of negotiation. So far, the owner is willing to take $9000 cash + the trade of my TJ. Mine is an 01 2.5L automatic with a cracked frame and rotted body mount on the tub. It's the Patriot Blue one I also posted here. He is willing to let me remove the parts I want, as long as he can keep the ones off his that I replace. This would include my bumpers, lights, winch, and Bestop Trektop NX.
Owners listing states the following:
This Jeep will be my daily driver, to and from work. It will also be my road trip vehicle, trail rig, and around town putter. I'm not going to bounce it off trees and realistically I will baby the thing, but would still like for it to be capable. It will see snow, as I'm moving to Canada. It will be my only vehicle. It will need to be used on the highway.
Does this look clean enough to justify the asking price, or should I haggle more? He was originally asking $11.5k cash. I'm aware my TJ won't be worth much when I take the parts off, plus given the condition.
