My BIL offered to let me borrow their trailer if I wanted to bring the Jeep home now instead of waiting for the parts to repair my trailer...

Well as SOME of you guessed..... Crash got bored and fixed my trailer for me..... And it wasn't just my shackles that were shot...

Yes it is... He's a great guy.... Can't tell you how much he helped me out after I'd been wounded....
We've been friends since my Samurai days which dates both of us to the late 90's...

@bbaldwin237 you're not the only one who bends axle mount brackets. And mine are aftermarket 1/4" thick too.
Looking at the room between the front axle and engine I don't think I'll have any clearance issues.
Scared up the front diff cover too.
And then the clearance job I'd done on the trackbar bracket already seems to have helped. But I do plan on clearancing it more while I've got the axle out.

And been test fitting the new truss.....
Of course I cut a little bit too much off but I can glue a little bit back on....

Had theses plugs in the Tuffy drawer.
Originally figured I'd used them on a caliper brake line but works for the main line too.
I'll still have to bleed the brakes when I'm done but this keeps from having a mess on the floor.

This is pretty much how the truss will sit on the axle.
And I'll be able to tie into the spring pad on the drivers side.
And the trackbar bracket on the passenger side.

Got to scrub the diff housing and try to get it as clean as possible so I can heat it up to weld to the cast of the housing.
