My former supervisor lost his home, and his surrounding neighborhood in the 2015 Cobb fire. When the smoke settled, he told me he had a strange sense of relief not worrying about all the stuff he had accumulated over the years. It was like a cleansing sort of feeling. I didn't quite understand what he meant at the time, but as I thought about it more, I understood a bit of what he was saying. I'm not sure how this may help with your situation, but I think taking your time on getting "more stuff", might take on a slower sense of urgency. I have no personal experience, yet, in this, so take what I say for what it is. We had a close call in 2018, and were evacuated from our county for 15 days. We were fortunate to have an RV at the time and was able to flat tow the Jeep out and hunker down at an RV park for the duration of the evac.
