I've been trying to stay positive... When you figure I have been an amputee for 8 years and have only had 3 infections... But then I've had had two back to back....
Lots to talk about... It just takes too damn long for these damn sores to heal.

I was thinking back and I got my 1st Staph infection around 2020 but never knew what caused it...

2nd Staph infection was last year and that was caused by my water line break under my house and my liner getting soaked....

3rd Staph infection again I don't know what caused it at this point...

All I can do at this point is hope & fingers crossed I don't have anymore for a while... I wish if I was gunna get these infections that they would happen during the winter as opposed to during the summer when I'd like to be up and moving....

If you look at when I've had the infections it's always happening in the summer when I'm sweating more so one thought process is that I need to stop and clean my leg multiple times each day which might then stop some of these infections from happening...
And I'll admit to not taking as good of care of my limb as I should sometimes...

So I've got my appointment with wound care today @ 10Am and then with my prosthesis tomorrow @10AM also so I'm hoping I might get some good news from them that might answer some questions and also allow me to return even if it's lite duty for the next few weeks.... I can limit my time on my feet and work around that if needed...

Nothing else new or exciting at this point...

Other than I'm really getting burned out on TV shows and running out of shows I want to watch. And have read too many books in the past few months now too...

I got a list of stuff I want to do to my Jeep and I don't want to spend any money...trying to do adult things like pay off the house.

So keep me out of trouble...

Yep, I hate TV, and it seems real books are almost extinct, I just can't get into the Ebooks.

Hopefully the docs loosen your leash a little bit for you.

When I couldn't hardly walk I spent a lot of time watching TV...
I've watched & rewatched Star Trek & Star Wars now I can't say how many times and that includes all the newer Star Trek series out there...
And a bunch of other movies & series too...

I read on my Kindle when I go out to the garage to have a cigar..

Is it good? I've seen a lot about it lately but it's always Instagram stuff that feels promoted so I haven't tried it. I tried Dune based on the hype a couple years ago and couldn't get into it.
