My right side slider got friendly with some rocks on my last trail outing. It's a wrinkle finish PC, and I'm not sure what I could use to touch that up that won't look like dog crap when I'm done. Ideas jeeples?

Touching up textured powder coat would be tough. We use an epoxy paint at work to touch up very minor dings in powder coat. It's mixed to match when dry. But matching the texture is going to be really hard. You might try hitting it with a heat gun to restore the color and smooth it out a little. No guarantees though. That might make matters worse.

I'd try some bedliner...it won't match perfectly, but I bet you'd have to look really hard to see that it didn't. Other option is just mask off the rest of the slider, and put a coat of bedliner on the whole lower section that contains the scratch. Won't be too terrible difficult, the texture will match "break to break" and won't attract the eye.

All good ideas folks. Thanks. I'll mull it over. I have many trail scars, so it's not high priority, but after a while the ole jeep starts looking a bit ghetto, so I like to clean it up from time to time.

You can fit it by lifting it higher :p
