The sound is coming from the passenger front wheel. It's something rotating. Maybe a bearing? I have no idea.

Well, if it accelerates when you do, then it’s 2 quite possible, and easy to check things. U-joint (which doesn’t require jacking it up) or the wheel bearing.

Notice any drag when you hit the brakes? Or any pull to that side driving straight?

The noise seems to get quieter when applying the brakes. Then starts back again when I accelerate. It did pull to that side before the brake pads were changed a few months ago but now it does not pull to that side, at least not bad enough that I notice. I'll check tomorrow. I'll also jack it up and move the wheel around.

Jacked it up this morning to wiggle the wheel. No noticeable movement horizontally but vertically I do hear a veryslight movement in the hub but the wheel doesn't really move or anything like I've seen in videos.

I mostly hear wind.

However, my first guess would be a u-joint or the unit bearing. Grease the u-joints and see if that helps for starters.

Easy way to test a noisy wheel bearing to to shift the weight while driving. Turn left and right and see if the noise changes.

The additional weight fron turning can stop the noise.

Up and down would be wheel bearing. Left to right is ball joints.

Much better video.

Had my son video while I was backing up.

I had a noise which I was sure was coming from the front right wheel. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind. It turned out to be the rear double Cardan on the front driveshaft. Go figure!

Haha. The issue was staring me right in the face. Rookie day!! Gonna take this hub assembly back.

Yep. One missing an two had backed off about half way. A cautionary tale for two reasons. Long story short. I was replacing brake pads about a month ago. I was using the high lifter jack. I always tighten the lugs in the air and drop the jack to get em real tight on the ground. I went to hit the switch to lower the jack and everything turned white. The jack handle was in the down position when I hit the switch. The weight of the jeep promptly swung up what could only be described as a heavy metal pipe directly into my temple. My feet came out from underneath me and I sat on the ground for about 10 min trying to get my bearings. Fast forward a month later and I just discovered, in all the confusion I forgot to tighten the lugs on the ground. Live and learn. The high lifter jack is now in the back of my garage and I am strictly a bottle jack guy now.

Oof. That’s brutal man. Yeah I only use floor jacks lol. Or an actual lift on post if I have to rotate tires.

I'm so stupid, I have a floor jack but haven't been using it because when I replaced my control arms it wasn't tall enough to flex the suspension all the way down. It was just habit to grab the high lifter after that for the jeep.
