Replaced my unit bearings today

Back side of both rotors were grooved as well so those got turned and fresh pads. No pics of that.
 
Curious-
Were you able to pop out the u-joints without removing the axle shafts? Or did you pull them, just to make it easier?

By the time you get things disassembled enough to have full access to the u-joints the shafts can be pulled right out. No need to pull the differential cover.

Yeah. the bearings had some life left in them, even though they were oozing grease. But I consider a u-joint with metal dust where the grease is supposed to be, to be nasty. 😎
