Agree with all comments above. They are pricey, noisy, and the low pressure area created by the windshield plowing through the air at highway speeds causes them to pull away from the door surrounds at the top of the door. But, I run them all summer. It is great to have a way to close up the Jeep when the weather takes an unexpected turn, or for cold mornings, or for when you just want a break from the wind and heat. They will keep you mostly dry and/or warm. On long trips, they are just too noisy, so I pack the soft doors, run the hard doors on the highway and then swap once I reach my destination. I used to carry a bicycle U-lock and at least lock the hard doors together by the window frames, but these days, I'm usually staying in a hotel, so they just stay in the room.
