I could use some help in pricing a set of tires that I am about to post for sale. When I bought my TJ, the owner had 35" mud tires on it, which I never planned to use. So I already swapped out those tires for a set of 35" BFG KO2's.

The tires that I am selling are Nitto Mud Grapplers - 35x14.50r15. They also have less than 6k miles on them (from the original owner, who didn't drive it much) so the tire tread is in great condition with a ton of life left. I don't think the spare was ever used so it should have about 99% life on it. I have the set of five tires, but I'm not sure how much to list them for. It looks like they run about $343/each new, which is just over $1700 for a new set.

Any help in pricing the tires would be appreciated so that I can get them listed for sale as soon as possible. Thanks.

14.5 is a really wide tire.
I'm up mid state NY. The only folks that use a tire that wide around here are farmers. Some on the farm truck, but mostly on silage wagons and such to help with soil compaction. And there aren't many rich farmers around here. Hell, hardly any farmers of any kind left around here.
So pricing around me would be low. We always picked up bald ones from the back of a tire shop. And those were around for free. Saved them having to pay to have them hauled away. If they were 12.5's they would be worth more. But I guess all you need is some mall crawler to see them and snatch them up.
Sorry if this doesn't help you much.

A 14.5" wide tire could be a hard sell, so you might end up getting less than they are worth, or holding on to them for a bit until they sell.

They are definitely a niche size. The good thing in this situation is I'm in the south, and people around here do a lot of mud-bogging so I'm hoping one of them will buy them. I went ahead and listed them at $1200 obo on facebook marketplace and craigslist, although I don't expect to get that much for them. But I've had 6 or 7 people ask about them since yesterday. So I feel like I'll be able to move them. I just have to wait and see if a reasonable offer is made for them. I'd like to move them as soon as possible, but at the same time, I don't have to move them immediately so I can sit on them for a little while, if need be, until someone wants them.

Start at $1000 - these are worth a lot more than run-of-the-mill KM2's or something.

I got $650 for 35x12.5R15 KM2 with 75% tread, I think I could have got $750 if I was willing to wait. Sold them in 2 days I think?

Just wanted to post a quick update in case anyone was interested or trying to sell something similar in the future. I ended up selling the tires for $1k. Only took about five days on facebook, and I had about 15 people express interest in them (although if you've ever sold anything on facebook you know people on there like to talk but then never follow through with anything). I definitely think being in the south helped with the sale of these specific tires, though.
