Simple, Battery-Powered Interior Light?

Sounds like you may be missing the sound bar. it has a light in it.

Mine has an under dash light on each side besides the two in the sound bar. They light up the front floorboards.

My old base model CJ5 had under dash lights as well that were wired to the headlight switch. I can't imagine that old Jeep having something that all Wranglers wouldn't have as well.

I made one from this Stanley headlamp (65436). I liked this one because it simply clips to the base, so it can be removed from it's mount. That, and it swivels enough to nearly sweep 180 degrees.

I made a base plate for mine to screw down to the original dome light spot, but it can easily be mounted onto the rollbar without too much effort.

How awesome is this dude.

So awesome that I stopped by tractor supply and got not 1, but 2, on my way to work. Only $13 each there.
you know most headlights are really good to rotate a little and that's just exactly what a dome light needs... I'm going to get one or two and silicone or use some 3M double face tape and put them in my hard top

I might do one between the visors also because it's the front that I'm missing it the most... Put it right there on the windshield channel.

This is strange but I've got LED lights in my 03 and my 2006 doesn't in the interior and it lights up the interior far better and I can't figure it out

I’m going to fix it up to light up the cargo area of my LJ. Maybe strapped to the center roll bar or one of the ones on the side, pointed mainly towards the cargo area.

I may try the roll bar first with black zip ties so I don't have it hitting my eyes.

Check out Milwaukee Head lamp #2111-21 , rechargeable , and it has a bracket to last it to the roll bar ..like it's made for it .

One setting last for 31 hours .

This is only my second day to own this TJ, so I'm still poking around. I have these mounted behind the roll bar, but I can't find a switch for the lights anywhere. Any ideas where to look?
