I think it's a Dana 35 but hope it's a Dana 44

I've searched on here and scoured the internet, but I still can't decide if the rear diff is Dana 35 or Dana 44.
I'm about to order gaskets for an oil change and want to be sure I get the right ones as I'm not keen on using liquid gasket.

I suspect that it's a Dana 35 but I would appreciate confirmation from someone who knows.

You have a Dana 44

Dana 35 is oval with a rubber fill plug.

X2. You're set with a Dana 44. If you can get them, order a lube locker gasket.

You can also plug in your vin number HERE and see how your Jeep was equipped from the factory.

Thanks, unfortunately mine is a U.K export model and is not listed on that site.

Not too many U.K. spec. but as early Series Land Rovers have rocketed in price more Japanese sourced imports are becoming available.
Still only waved at one since May though
