Plastic vs metal fender flares

One benefit of steel fender flairs is that they make great work platforms.

The top side creeper fixes that problem

I just took advantage of the $400 MCE 3" full set of flares as well. I actually cut my stock fenders long ago to accommodate the MCE fenders, then realized the price...I'm glad I noticed they were much cheaper! Cant wait to get em.

Just got done installing the MCE flares.
Too dark to take pictures tonight

Tek screws are ghetto and should be left to the $80 chineeese special parts. I'm really not sure why they didn't use the factory mounting spots on the rear.

All of the aluminum spacers needed to be drilled out.

The fronts lined up really funny. Where they wanted to line up/sit was an inch farther back than how the manual says to do them. Still need to mess with them.

I installed PSC fenders with a 3” flare around 2006. They’ve eaten their fair share of rocks and totaled a Camaro with nothing but a few scratches to show for it.

They're too far back from the grill. If I move them forward they didn't fit along the top for crap.
They didn't fit to the point that I have the front brackets on the opposite sides for now so I can wheel this weekend.

I need to take them back apart and trim them to fit better.

One expects this with cheap chinese parts, I expected better with more expensive options...

You could always give them a call and ask for a replacement one - they have some awesome customer service.

Mine sit pretty even with the grill, within a 1/8" of each other.

How well did yours line up with the angle where the fender meets the grill? When mine were even with that and flush along the top, they were 1in short of the front of the grill

Your Jeep might be bent. Maybe scribe and trim to get them closer.
