Hard pop after turning

I have a 1998 And shortly after accelerating through a turn it will make a hard audible pop. A lot of people say it’s the ball joints or the track bar but I have that sucker as tight as I can get it and it’s a brand new adjustable one. The ball joints are brand new as well. It does not pop if I jump on any side of the Jeep. But I’m stumped and out of ideas on where to look. Thanks in advance.

I was thinking about that let me send you a picture of the ones on my Jeep they are not the traditional ball and socket ones so I did not think it would cause that

This does not look right.. if anyone knows is the pitman arm upside down first off. Second to fix this should I just tighten up the nuts on the back?

Here is mine. I think that movement is good. No, tightening that nut won't restrict that movement. That movement is normal.

No drop pitman for TJ's. I don't know personally, but that say that all the time here. I am suspicious of the axle u-joints. Maybe jack up the front axle, turn the wheel to left or right and manually turn the tire and watch that u-joint.

I just watched it and it seems okay. The thing that made me unsure was I found some red dust around the u joint on the passenger side front axle and that’s about where I hear the noise from.

Is it possible that the u joint only fails when under load accelerating?

Jack up that wheel and spin the tire look at that u joint. Red dust is the tell tale..

I sent a video it looks fine to me, maybe you see something I don’t?

The red on the ears of the shaft wouldn't be of concern. If you see similar looking dust around the joint cap seal on the joint body that's a tell tale the joint is wasted. Ill usually move the wheel back and forth faster to look for play. I do the same when checking the steering components. Instead of a slow lock to lock, I will just turn the wheel between 10 o clock and 2 o'clock and look for movement.
