Are these the factory shocks?

Any chance these are the original shocks that came in my 1999 SE 2.5L? They have the same undercoating as the rest of my components. It came with a 2” BB from Rocky Road Outfitters. I just installed my Rancho 5000X and this is the shock that was on there. They feel just fine and say gas charged. Hope the Ranchos are an improvement. Thought stock shocks were just oil...

Well first ride with the Ranchos was nice! Definitely less 2nd, 3rd, and 4th... bounces over road bumps. I even think my braking is more even if that is possible? It used to pull a bit to the left and that wheel would skid first on a quick stop, but it seems better now...
Can’t wait to hit the trails.
