I currently have full hard doors and I have no intention of getting rid of them, as they are in great shape. However it stays warm/hot here alot more than it does cold. Of course a set of half doors would be great but as everyone knows they are expensive and relatively hard to find. This brings me to the idea of soft doors. I see some here locally at pretty cheap prices. I have always liked the look but don't know anyone who has ever ran them. I know they'll be louder and such but how "flappy" are they? What are the downside to them? Anyone here who runs them full time? Any info, experience, or opinions are appreciated.

I like mine a lot. They are louder than the hard doors, but I also usually run Spring through Fall with just the lower half anyway. The uppers get only get used in the rain. Hard doors go on when it gets too cold.

$250 is a decent price.

I have a set and wouldn’t give them up. IMO, they are great. Doors on to the trail and throw them in the back until it’s time to head home. While I never ran hard half doors I think I would still prefer the 2 piece soft simply because I wouldn’t want to put hard doors in the back of the jeep when I want to go doorless
