I have a 3.5" metalcloak lift and the tire size is 305/70/17sI can’t answer that question, but I do wonder what size tire you went with and how much overall lift you have. That tire looks ginormous compared to the stock. Beautiful Jeep.
That’s almost a 34” tire. You’d be better set up if you added a 1-1.25” BL.I have a 3.5" metalcloak lift and the tire size is 305/70/17s
It seems i have a good bit of clearance as far as the body. My only issue i see is the wheels need less backspacing. Tire hits the spring at full turnThat’s almost a 34” tire. You’d be better set up if you added a 1-1.25” BL.
It may seem that you have sufficient clearance, but I run 3” suspension lift, 1.25” body lift, 2” of bumpstop and 33’s and they front tires still rub the back of the wheel well at full lock stuffed. It seems i have a good bit of clearance as far as the body. Good to know. I only bought 1 tire to test fit before buying the whole set. Do you think i can run 285/70/17s on the JK rubicon wheels or will the backspacing stil be an issueIt may seem that you have sufficient clearance, but I run 3” suspension lift, 1.25” body lift, 2” of bumpstop and 33’s and they front tires still rub the back of the wheel well at full lock stuffed.
Normal rule of thumb
33’s - 4”
35’s - 5”
So a 34” would ideally be around 4.5” of overall lift.
Ideal BS for an 8” wide rim is 3.75-4”. If you use a JK Moab rim you’ll have to use wheelspacers to correct the bolt pattern. TJ is 5x4.5. JK is 5x5. @Mike_H used to run those rims and he could tell you what thickness is ideal to avoid rubbing.Good to know. I only bought 1 tire to test fit before buying the whole set. You can add some washers to your steering lock. Decreases turn radius. Or buy Mikes 2” spacers! So this is the wheel with the tire mounted. I am using adapters that are 1.25" thick. I couldnt find anything thicker than that. The 2nd pic is the tire rubbing the spring when turned to lock.

Im gonna try thicker adapters. I really like the look of these wheels plus i dont want the hassle of trying to sell them nowYou can add some washers to your steering lock. Decreases turn radius. Or buy Mikes 2” spacers!

I had a set of these ready to go, but then I found my Pintlers, so I returned them to Amazon.
Will 2" adapter be enough or should i get some 3" that i found? Im running the 3.5" metalcloak lift and no body lift. I dont want to buy more than i need but i dont want to have to buy a 3rd set of adapters eitherhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BPGC4H4/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Those wheels should be about 6" backspacing. You can measure it...Once you do pick a spacer that will get you to about 3.75-4" of backspacing. If those wheels are 6" (Which I'm almost positive they are), 2" is what you need. Spacing the wheels is more about clearance behind the tire, vs lift height. That rubbing you have against the spring would happen no matter what spring you happened to have. I'm running 4" backspacing and I clear almost all the time...Only time I get a rub is when I'm REALLY crossed up and at full lock on steering. Will 2" adapter be enough or should i get some 3" that i found?
