I have a question about fenders in relation to running 37's on an LJ.
Quick stats on the build, Dana 60 rear, ProRock 44 Front with RCV's, 4" Currie Lift, 1.25 Savvy Body Lift so I guess 5.25" of lift.

I want to run aluminum highline fenders down the road but the jeep fund pool is running a little shallow at this point and I would like to wrap up the build and do some light wheeling before I get into the body / armor phase of the project.

Is it feasible to run 37"s on 5.25" of lift with stock fenders until I get some tubes? I don't want to go any taller with the lift so I figured I would ask those of you with 37"s before I drop the coin and find myself with 1" of up-travel or something else I'm not thinking of.

Fully cycle the axles with the tires on without springs installed and that should tell you most of what you need to know.

You can extend bumpstops to limit travel whereever you like.

I was afraid of that....
I ran 37 with 4" lift + BL + and tummy tuck and metal cloak fenders which aren't much above stock fenders. It's do-able but doesn't leave you with much uptravel. Just build the suspension assuming there is no fender limiting you then you should be able to swap in highlines when you get the chance. I ran it that way for 2 years and then cut it all off and did it right with highlines :)

if your gonna high line the front there are a few things you could get going on to make the transition easier.
smaller CAI w/filter. a smaller washer fluid jug
you could even go as far as cutting the hood and raising the OE fenders until what you want for fenders is affordable.
although i'd recommend maybe keeping the OE fender just a hair under so the hood cut is sufficient to be trimmed to the permanent fenders later. it does take some dickin around with fender mounts and bringing the battery up it's not just move some bolts you'd have to be committed to do it.

Your old setup sounds exactly like my current setup until I get some fenders so it good to hear it's do-able.

You have some valid points here, I will probably go ahead and get a head start on the misc. items like the air intake etc.
Probably will stop short of cutting the hood and moving the fenders up for now though.

Shock travel will also play onto this. The more flex you have, the more the top corner of the tire is going to dig into whatever is in its way.

Tera 4" springs and their belly up with 37s. I have Genright fenders ready to be installed
