What will look better on my TJ, a stubby bumper or a full bumper?

I personally wouldn’t bother buying a stubby for the TJ. The stock one is easily modifiable. Add the winch plate and rock that shit. Resourceful and less costly.

to each his own, but my stocker was bent up by the PO using the front end to move boats around a marina

Just off of looks alone I like the JCR mid width bumper linked there, and an added bonus is it's 14 pounds lighter than my current bumper so I can justify it lol. It's also USA made and looks to have better clearance than my current one. I also like the recessed for light holes, just looks cleaner to me for some reason.

Stubby is the way to go... I have to agree, your jeep needs a stubby! No doubt in my MIND it is the best choice for you.

That is a JK bumper someone put on a TJ. You can get the "Dumbo" flares too.

I like the full size bumper on TJ ... IFFF . you fill the gap between bumper and fender like some JK models... (as shown below) which is what I hope to somehow do. Got a few ideas

Presently I have 7" flares on OEM fenders so am already about as wide as JK bumper anyway. Want a more square blockish look on my TJ front end to give her a bit an Older G-wagen look ..... which sorta makes perfect sense when considering there is a Mercedes diesel engine under the hood of my TJ. There is always method to my madness.

Just buy a JK.

Just buy a JK.
1. not in my budget and will be dead by the time something that new is in my budget...... (am past half way to to old now.. when income drops not raises.... and that is on a good economy)
2. don't trust our present administration nor the path it it taking us down. This is PRIMARY reason for my TJ having this particular MB diesel. This engine is well know to be good at burning fairly well about any light oil as a fuel. (motor oil, veg. oil, etc.) Just mix it wisely with diesel or Kero. Burns it even better with minimal mods.

There’s an ARB bumper that may work. The JK options fitted to a TJ look pretty bad. I think @TheBoogieman has posted a few. Good luck!

The TJ’s in the UK have what you want.
