Does anybody have round LED tail lights?

yeah but when you're on your 3rd or 4th set of those chinese made amazon specials, you''ll have to come back and tell me what a bargain they were...I'm a buy once, cry once type 'cause I don't mind spending a bit more initially for a quality part and installing things once and besides the...

CJ style tailgate that folds out, not down

how do you plan on keeping it shut...CJ's didn't have a latch system like the newer swing open tailgates do, they only had little swing latches on each side of the gate to hold the drop down gate closed

What is this object in front of shifter?

thanks, now I'll have to check my TJ for one of those...I know my YJ had a module (a clear plastic box) in that same location that was just a timer to set off the check engine light, so people would bring them in for routine service

    Opinions on underpowered 2.5 TJ

Dana 30 in the front and a Dana 35 in the rear I like Revolution gears myself ..and Wildman, Mase Mountain and High Point State Park may not be the Rockies, but they're hard on a little 4 banger with 4.10's and 31's to pull

    Opinions on underpowered 2.5 TJ

definitely depends on the terrain and speed limit in your area..long steep mountain roads and a 55mph speed limit was the momentum killer in NJ...the big problem with the 4cyl is no torque, so you can't maintain rev's going up a mountain in 5th gear, let alone gain any, then you find yourself in...

    Opinions on underpowered 2.5 TJ

when I lived in the mountains of northern NJ I never really used 5th gear in my 2.5L YJ, but now that I've moved to southern AZ where it's pretty flat I'm able to use it more...even so I like the 4 cylinder on the trails, but not really on the Interstate ...and CJ's used to come with V8's..I...

Which oil pump should I get?

my 4.6L stroker kit came with a melling oil pump and that's what I plan on using when the engine gets to the point that I think it needs a refresh...and I think I can hear the slightest ticking of some rod knock now..but the winter weather here in AZ is too nice to take the Jeep out of...

Clutch and rear main seal on 2.5 with 178,000 miles

not hard to replace at a later date, if it looks like it's all in good condition...but if it's leaking or iffy looking now, it's better to do a complete job of it I have an auto, so never looked into it that deeply, but yes, if you need to replace it, I've heard the new ones usually come as a...
