Looking for 35 inch tire recommendations

I simply asked Mac how his KM3s behaved in the mud. I did not mean to imply I was looking for dedicated mud tires. Sorry for the confusion. The original KMs did really well in the mud, even red clay. Anyone else have first hand experience with 35s that are still made for 15 inch rims in 2024?

Looking for 35 inch tire recommendations

How do they clean out with mud? Have you ever had to deal with any clay type soil? We have lots of red clay soil here in the Southeast that will clog up many mud tires. My old MTRs were useless against it.

Looking for 35 inch tire recommendations

I know this thread is old, but I was curious if anybody has any fresh 2024 info on 35 inch mud terrains for 15 inch rims. For those that posted previously any updates?

    Bought another Commando

A friend of mine decided to sell his '73 Commando he built as his trail rig. I have ridden with this Jeep multiple times and it always does really well. So when I found out he was selling it I jumped on it. Drove all the way to Maryland with the tow rig last weekend to pick it up.

AX-15 wont leave neutral with engine running

No, the pilot bearing. Sometimes the noise only happens when the bearing initially fails. After that you just have an input shaft that spins with the crank https://www.freeasestudyguides.com/manual-transmission-pilot-bearing.html

AX-15 wont leave neutral with engine running

Sounds like your transmission is not disengaging when the clutch pedal is pressed. The above about checking you master and slave is a good starting point. Another common cause of this issue is a seized pilot bearing. This has happened to me twice.

Me and my daughter went Sunday in her TJ just to walk the vendor area. Some pretty good deals by a lot of vendors. Lots of stuff to look at. We heard the trails were much less congested this year.

What happens when you run 35s and get rear ended

Man, that sucks. Happy to hear the damage was minimal. I have been rear ended 3 times now fully stopped, sitting at a red light. It really sucks when you see it coming, but can do nothing about it

    The 90's

It's interesting to me how rock musicians as a whole used to be anti government. The government was the man and the man was the enemy. But now they all seem to be choosing sides.

What did you do to your TJ today?

UCF (Under Cover Fab). After seeing a friend mangle his windshield frame and realizing how easily it was to do I ordered some as soon as we got back from that trail ride. The metal on the sides of the windshield frame is surprisingly thin. These days I don't worry too much about body damage...
