    Unusual electrical question

It always comes back to the basics. Check grounds, make your battery connections shine like your Sunday school shoes and double check anything hooked up aftermarket.

What did you do to your TJ today?

@Duner I can test your pcm if you want to send it in. Loss of gauges, faulty o2 sensor readings and stalling while driving are the main symptoms. Rough idle once warm is also very common. PS Say hi to John Valby for me! 👀😂👍🏻

    Transmission Codes P0700 & P0740

Loss of gauges usually happens with the Manual Transmissions, but it has been known to happen with an automatic. Faulty O2 sensor codes, high transmission temperatures and a hard shift between first and second in the mornings are the usual suspects in an automatic.

    Cruise Control Weirdness

@Noxid The 6 speed faults are faulty o2 sensor readings, loss of gauges and stalling while driving. Any or all are pcm failure.

    Cruise Control Weirdness

Yes, I have seen the cruise control not function due a bad pcm. @Noxid You can send it into us to confirm 100% it is pcm related. Are you having any hard 1-2 shifts when cold?

    Question for Wranglerfix

The calls go something like this…”I was giving someone a jump and now my jeep won’t start.” The other issue is skim. Even if you do not have skim, a jumped battery can activate it. I believe it is due to a bad ground or loose battery terminals.

    Question for Wranglerfix

There are no OEM new parts for the TJ years. They are all rebuilt and suffer from common failures. Leaking caps is the biggest killer of these boards. To prevent failure make sure your grounds are clean, battery terminals polished like your Sunday school shoes and don’t give anyone a jump as...

P0513 - stuck in a parking lot -options?

@Aggie01 it is either your module or pcm. Do you have an auto or manual? Auto’s have an occasional hard shift from 1-2 when cold and rough idle when warm.

TJ turns over but does not start

A lot more "other stuff" involved. All euro software after 1998 has the skim embedded. Even when you disable it, it will reenable. It was a tough fight, but we finally got it taken care of.

    Swapping to a 32RH transmission

It sounds like the 99 auto has skim enabled. Do you known if the key was grey? I can program the 99 manual to auto if you send it into us.
