Does anyone know where to source a replacement ECU?

Top of the morning gentleman: @CamRGordon I can definitely assist you with your ECM if that is the issue. You can mail yours into me and we can repair it or I can build you another. Some countries really stick it to you with customs so please verify that prior. Repair services are 100-150 plus...

Key Issues on 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ (free Cajun seasoning)

It sounds more like wiring issue to me rather than skim. Skim will crank two seconds and then die twice. Afterwards, it is a crank no start.

Is there a difference between a rebuilt and re-manufactured 42RLE?

@AMS417 thank you. @lafittejeep Are there any codes present? Limp mode usually brings a 0700 and an underlying code. Check the black connector on your Jeep as that controls the shifting. Spray some contact cleaner and make sure the red clips are firmly clipped in. I have enclosed a few photos...

    97 TJ immobilizer problem solved

If the vehicle starts with a screwdriver it isn’t the immobilizer causing the issue. Have you checked powers, grounds, wiring and starter?

Will a PCM from a 2003 TJ fit in my 2002?

There are a lot of J-Tech (1997-2004) Chrysler ECM’s that will work on more than one vehicle. A 1998 ECM can be made into a 97 or 98 but not the other way around unless there are letters after the 97. After 1998, we use a variety of ECM’s to build depending on the year. I do not have the...

2003 Jeep Wrangler Limp Mode (42RLE)

Good morning gentlemen, @cvettori55 I do not believe the B0054 and C0057 codes are ECM or tcm related. I will double check when I soeak with my tech. The 1492 code leads back to the battery temp sensor. Have you checked that? There should be a secondary transmission code to accompany the...

Do I need a new PCM?

@lonelytoilet I can test your ECM for you at no charge if you send it into me. If there is something wrong with it the repairs are 100-150. Testing normally takes 2-3 days. It could be a loose/dirty ground, frayed wires, ecm or a combination of all of the above.
