I know the feeling. I am going to tweak the pinion some. Once the RPMs exceeds 2500 , my Jeep is not as smooth running. But under that 2500 rpms around 45 to 50 mph things are smooth.
Well I think Ive found the problem.
For some reason, the catalytic converter and exhaust had either been bent or fallen down a little, anyway it was vibrating against the skid plate.
Hey y’all, just reporting back. I took my Jeep to a very reputable transmission guy and he rebuilt it. I picked up the Jeep today! Its working perfect. And I have an 18 month warranty.
Well I found a shop nearby that knows the 32rh transmission. So he is supposed to rebuild it next week.
I think I’m more worried About them removing and reinstalling the trans than I am about them fixing it
I know there are a lot of current popular 4 door Jeep models , but which model is the more trail ready / popular for up grades for rock crawling.
