Savvy off-road sold? (the unofficial Savvy customer support and Savvy rant thread)

Friendly request: The next time someone is communicating with Gerald, can you ask about gas tank skids? Been waiting to see if Flux was planning something, but if Gman is considering it, that works too.

    42RLE external cooler

The leaky red fluid indicates that is likely your temp sender. It's in the wrong spot for an accurate trans temp reading. Most on here will tell you it needs to be mounted on the front side of the transmission oil pan. Dorman makes an aftermarket one for the 42 with the bung already pressed...

Engine won't run after tummy tuck install

This happened to me as well. For whatever reason after the tuck and the motor mount lift, the OPDA had somehow shifted and was no longer aligned. Ran really crappy and threw a CEL. I used a wrench to get to TDC, adjusted the OPDA and boom. No longer an issue. Replace your OPDA if you have...

I did the Savvy MUA bracket flip on the crossmember to eliminate the C clamshell. Checked twice after cutting that I had the ends oriented the correct way. Burned them in to see...nope, they were the wrong way. Cut the ends back off and laid it all back out again. What the? .....crap. I had...
