Engine light on after complete fill-up

T The float and sending unit that operates the gauge and pump are all one piece in the tank.

    Axle bearing/Hubs

I suppose I could put the old wheel bearings back in to see what that does also. The bearings weren't bad just replaced them before they got that way.

Engine light on after complete fill-up

Yes to the bad fuel pump. That also allowed me to fill my tank all the way. I could never put more than 12 gallons in before. First fill up afterward was over 15 gallons

    Axle bearing/Hubs

I rotated tires and it seemed to help. Not much vibration through steering wheel anymore but still feel vibes at highway speed. Usually not much until I'm over 60ish. I'm pulling front drive shaft today then see what it does.

Engine light on after complete fill-up

M My 98 Sport did the same thing. Replaced the fuel pump and problem solved. It was intermittent having the light come on but didn't trust it any longer. Good luck

Since we're on the oil pan protection theme do they make stronger oil pans? Like differential covers.

    Tire Balancing

I am having an argument with a coworker on frequncy of balancing tires. He thinks every time you rotate tires they should be balanced for that specific location on the vehicle. I said a balanced tire is a balanced tire and doesn't matter. Now if you wheel a lot more frequent balancing may be...

    NV231 Rear Output Shaft Leaking

That lock ring is a PITA. Make sure you get some pliers like he had. It's not an actual snap ring that has holes in the ends. Might as well put in an SYE while your under there. Lol

    Axle bearing/Hubs

No noise at all. I did the toe- in myself. All tires are pretty new and just had them rebalanced but no tire rotation.

    What was your first vehicle?

1977 K-5 Blazer full time 4 wheel drive with a 350 beast of an engine. Grew up in the mountains of Colorado so there were plenty of CJs my friends had and every other 4 wheel vehicle.

Why do you guys think of this Rubicon?

No opinions from this group is odd. I think it's a pretty good deal. As long as no fresh paint is covering up any rust issues. Did you drive it?

    Axle bearing/Hubs

Has anyone experienced or heard of any vibrations related to hub replacement? I replaced front hubs a while back with a set of Timkens. I have a very mild constant hum type vibration in steering wheel. This wasn't present before doing the hubs. Alignment is on the money and tires are balanced...
