What was your first vehicle?

I have had my TJ for about 6 months now and I love driving it just as much as the day I bought it. It is my first vehicle and I have been saving since I was little and was just curious what all you guys had as your first car (my uncle got me into Jeeps when I was 10).

My first car was a 1991 VW Golf that I had when I was 16!

A TJ for a first vehicle is awesome... Take it from a guy who has owned a ton of cool (and fast) cars... It doesn't get any better than a Wrangler!

1973 Ford Maverick, green. Bought it wrecked. I was 17. My Dad ran a paint and body shop next to our house. He an I did the bodywork and then he painted it back with the original funky green. I loved that old car. God I wish I had it back.

1961 VW Bug that I bought when I was 15. I got it on the road when I got my licence in 1969.

1977 K-5 Blazer full time 4 wheel drive with a 350 beast of an engine. Grew up in the mountains of Colorado so there were plenty of CJs my friends had and every other 4 wheel vehicle.

1960 Opel Cadet. Got it when I was 15 years old. It had been wrecked. My Dad and I fixed it up, then used his airplane hanger as a paint both. It was ready to roll the day I turned 16.

I really really wanted a 1972 Chevy Nova...had been looking at a lot of pictures of the Nova while I was in the service. But when it came time to buy .... I ended up with a new yellow 1972 Super Beetle. The Nova was more money and got less gas mileage. I paid cash for my Beetle.
