If I ever get “fuck you rich” I would for sure build a CJ5 with modern suspension and drivetrain but without all the electronic crap. Keep it as analog as possiable. I would have no problem building it as a $100k ground up project but I wouldn’t change much cosmetically!

Thank you. I agree those are the most recommended after the shocks with the OME kit were changed but thought that was an off-road centric recommendation. Just in case there is a better option for my road centric needs I posted this thread.

Stock height with Moab wheels and 30” Duratrac tires. I drive mostly on the freeway or up and down the mountain (I live at 6k feet), when I do go off road it’s never more demanding then fire roads or snow pack. I guess a smooth freeway ride would top my list. Thanks.
