I just got back from doing this, they did infect get shorted out. Now the question, how and where would water get in when washing it. Also keep in mind I am new to the Jeep community as I just got it for my first car.

@fuse , more in detail. When key is turned once into accessory "mode" the radio, heater, gauge cluster, and everything else works. But when key is turned further into start or "running" position, it all shuts off. It runs fine, just something weird with the electronics. I had washed it...

When I went to start my Tj this morning, the radio and heater did not continue onto the final turn of the key to start.
