    Is my fuel pump bad?

So I have been having some issues with my 1998 Jeep TJ 4.0 not wanting to start when hot, and twice it's died at stoplights after getting up to temp. I just tested the fuel pressure at the Schrader valve with an O'Reilly's auto parts loaner gauge. Maybe I didn't do it correctly, but I simply...

    33" tire recommendations for a 15" wheel?

Well, as far as I am concerned, you have two tire options. Goodyear Duratracs or BFG K02's. The rest pale in comparison. Oh, and "C" load only. I ran 265/75/16 Duratracs for years but realized that I needed to move away from the Moab 16" wheels and back to the 15's. 33x10.5x15 K02's on US...

    Installed Rancho 5000X shocks

I know that, but when experienced guys like Jerry says that he has flipped them without issue, I figured I'd give it a go. I was hoping to get a bit of clearance to the spring perch without cutting it.

    MORryde vs Exogate

Looks good, but I don't think I'll be needing a new one anytime soon. 😁 Seems to be holding up just fine. Here is a more recent picture with my current bumper and 33x10.5's.

    Installed Rancho 5000X shocks

I just replaced my OME Nitro Sport shocks with these Rancho 5000X shocks on the rear only. The right rear OME had made contact with the spring perch on one of my last off road events and was starting to leak, figured it was time to change and see what all the fuss was about. I decided to...

    MORryde vs Exogate

Just stumbled upon this thread. I love mine. I was an early adopter as you can see that my tub reinforcing plate is the old style. Kudos to Jeff for designing such a great product. Pic is from 2012 and still has my old bumper. -Patrick

Looking to regear, but I'm lost

Hey there, I am sure that there are more than a few threads out there on adding the additional switch panel, but here is one of them. https://wranglertjforum.com/threads/add-another-dash-switch-panel.7588/ The less expensive Ebay switches have a multitude of switch covers from Front or Rear...

BFG KM2 vs Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac

Both are great tires. I ran Duratracs for 7 years. Went to BFG K02's and love them too. Whatever tire that you choose, choose a "C" load tire. Night and day difference.

Looking to regear, but I'm lost

As far as locker switches go, why couldn't you just use stock fog switches, swap the covers of the switches with the aftermarket ones found on Ebay with a front or rear locker, and run it that way. I did this for my ARB air compressor. I plan on doing it for my lockers when I get around to...

How do I remove bushings and bar pins

JMT, what did you end up doing with the shocks?

    Rancho RS5000X Questions

Good to know. I have an SYE and rotated axle planing as well. Maybe I will be ok. Does anyone use Bar Pin Eliminators with these shocks?

    Rancho RS5000X Questions

Dang, I wish that I had read this thread before ordering a set for the rear of my Jeep. My Jeep has the 2.5 OME springs and my rear shock on the right side has recently made contact with the spring perch and is leaking. I figured that a set of these Rancho RS55256, flipped would give me the...

    WTB: Rubicon Locker Switch

Hey there, looking for an OEM Rubicon axle Lock switch. Doesn't have to be working. I just want it for the front part of the switch that "rocks" with the AXLE LOCK on it. I am going to use it in a fog switch which will power an ARB locker. Thanks, Patrick

    17" vs 15" wheels?

Personally, I think that 17" wheels with anything under a 35" tire just looks odd. The sidewall is too short on a 33" tire or smaller. Comfort? Well, I ran 16" Moabs with 265/75/16 Duratracs (C Load) for about 7 years. I finally went back to 15" wheels due to more tire options in a 15" vs...

Oregon Oregon (Portland area) Meet up?

sorry that I missed this thread earlier. I would like to join. I have been out to the TSF a few times. I would really like to get a group up to the Mt. Hood area for some snow fun. I was under the impression that there are places that we could venture, Lolo Pass Rd perhaps? -Patrick

Where to put locker & auxiliary light switches?

Hello, I have been thinking about using a factory fog light switch with a Rubicon "Axle Lock" switch front cover part as my switch when I install an ARB air Locker in my Jeep. Erikoffroad mentions this above. Jerry, I need your Axle Lock Switch for it's parts. :) . I have been trying to...

Replacing the interior lights of your Jeep Wrangler TJ with LEDs

Uhh, right. You turn the knob, but since LEDs draw way less power, they are a lot brighter and the factory reostat doesn't go down low enough to get the bulbs as dim as I would like.

Replacing the interior lights of your Jeep Wrangler TJ with LEDs

Has anyone figured out a way to dim the dash lights? They are a bit too bright for me. I like the color and the crispness and the low heat and....you get the picture, but they are just a bit too bright at night. I was thinking that I could put something over them to "filter" the light a bit...

Replacing the interior lights of your Jeep Wrangler TJ with LEDs

"pre-1998" ? Mine is a 1998. Perhaps some point in the middle of the year, they changed. Not sure. Thanks for putting all of this together. I now think that I need to figure out a different rheostat to allow dimming of the dash lights. They might be too bright.

Replacing the interior lights of your Jeep Wrangler TJ with LEDs

I just did this upgrade today on my 1998. Some of the info is not correct in the bulb listing. The HVAC bulbs in my slider unit are the same as the gauges bulbs and there are only two of them. The footwell bulbs are 89 bulbs, like this...
