Tires for wet and snowy climates like Ontario

Im from the Niagara region in Ontario. Most trucks and Jeeps I see here are running the KO 2's. Some jeeps even keep their mud terrains on. You should be good with any all terrain tire, it just takes some practice getting used to the driving style needed when the roads are covered with snow...

    Brake pads for 35” tires

I'm in need of some better brakes for running 35" tires safely, I would buy the black magic brakes but the international store is closed at the moment (Im in Canada) so I was wondering if there is any other good options, thanks

What is wrong with this Dana 44?

Hello everyone, so I just picked up this non Rubicon Dana 44 rear axle today and when I got home and opened up the cover I found some good size pieces in the oil. They seem to be from behind the spider gears. I'm don't have very much knowledge about gears and LSD's so please tell me what's going...

Different front and rear axle ratio

Let me try and make it simple to understand: Front wheel drive (4.10 gears) -rear shaft needs to be removed. (So no power is being sent to rear axle) -transfer case needs to be in 4-wheel drive. (So it's sending power to front axle) Rear wheel drive (3.07 gears) -front shaft is suggested to be...

Any reason not to use this?

That plug is where the automatic trans cables would run through if you had an auto. I drilled a hole in mine and ran wire through it for my bumper lights. I didn't use anything to seal it, it's pretty water tight if you drill the correct size hole

How reliable are Jeep Wrangler TJs as daily drivers?

I'm 19 and I've been daily driving mine for the past year and a half, it's not very practical and you'll spend abit more on gas then other vehicles but it's a hell of a time and I wouldn't want to drive anything else. Like others have said, keep it maintained and you will be good to go👍

    Clean behind your fender liners

I have some rust under the fuel filler in the seam, aswell as under the doors. The rest of the jeep looks to be in good condition. I luckily have no rust under the licence plate like 90% of the TJ's in my area do.

    Clean behind your fender liners

I tried to pop the Xmas tree clips out with a screw driver but I didn't have any luck so I pulled the liner out and the clips just bent and went through the holes. I'm going to repair and clean up the area and then paint the whole fender well with por15. When I spray the jeep with fluid film in...

    Clean behind your fender liners

I was cleaning up my frame today and decided to remove my rear fender liners for the first time since I bought it a year and a half ago. Tons of dirt fell out and exposed some serious rust. I got a nice little hole I have to patch now

    Members who 3D print?

I'm on my second 3d printer now, the first one I bought a couple years ago was a cheap kit you had to assemble. It was good for learning but I could never get quality prints from it. Back in September I decided to buy the Anycubic Mega-S. I really recommend it as it is really easy to use out of...

    Lowest lift to run 35s?

Thank you, I was just wondering because I bought the zone kit about a year ago when I thought 35's were not doable for me. I settled for 33's but now I'm much more knowledgeable and seeing as I need to buy new tires soon + a regear I'm considering 35's. I'm am going to upgrade steering and...

Is this what it looks like when your rear main seal needs to be changed?

I'd check your valve cover gasket for any leaks especially at the back. Mine looked like that and it was just the valve cover
