I did the 5.2. So I’m assuming just use the clutch parts for a 5.2

I have the clutch kit for a ram already. I had a nv3500 behind it but that trans turned out to be bad. So same clutch as donor vehicle?

The v6 one right? And then what about clutch components?

How did you get the ax15 to mount to the 5.2?

Did you have to use a custom bell housing for the ax-15 to line up?

are all of your ball joints, u-joints etc new?

Just finished up my magnum swap, but its running hot so re doing the whole cooling system.

I got my Dick Cepek Extreme Country tires in that size and am extraordinarily happy with them. They wear like Iron. I know its not on the list, but compared to the 33 inch km3s I had previously I like these a lot better.

Oh yeah they are. I drove it to work today top and doors off. Thing hauls. But boy that t-case growled down the road haha.

It honestly doesn't look all too bad. especially because it is black, almost any color would be okay with it. If you dont like it, paint it. It is your jeep after all!

the nv3500 did not make any noise when turning it by hand. I thought it might have been the trans at first but thankfully not.

Actually the t-case itself was from the pick and pull. So what happened to it is beyond me. The tcase that was in the truck was a 242 and wouldnt work with my tj drive shaft so I just grabbed another. I have another 231J lined up for me at my local jeep salvage yard.

i got rc 3.0 on my tj and theyre horrible. heard some good things about bilstein shocks so i might go that route.

only toe is adjustable on our tjs. are you talking for the actual bracket on the frame where the control arm connects to, the control arm itself, or the bracket on the axle?

i took the chain out of the t-case and popped it back in to see if it made any noise. also went ahead and filled it with all new fluid. still makes the constant sound in all tcase settings. thinking i might need to grab another tcase.

I did confirm that it was parasitic drag. The NV3500 came from the same truck I took the engine out of. When the t-case is in neutral it does make noise, but with the t-case removed it does not make a noise. All the clutch parts are new and installed correctly. When I push the clutch in it does...

Okay so I started tearing into the jeep last night after work, i took the driveshaft off and the noise was still there. I took the tcase off and the noise went away. So im thinking something inside the tcase?

I do not have the linkage in at the moment. Im manually shifting it from under the jeep.

No, it does not touch the skit plate at all

So would that be normal?
