    Do I need to check my timing chain?

I decided to look at the timing on my 98 4.0 and after getting the marker on the bearing to the 0 according to the manual and the rotor should be facing the #1 on the distributor cap.     Could my fuel injectors be leaking?

    Okay I’ve done everything except the injectors. I think they are leaking causing a bunch of issues.     Fuel system

    1998 Jeep Wrangler- all of a sudden my Jeep goes from closed loop into open loop-drive. It causes it to sputter and nearly die but then goes back to idling normal. Bad TPS?

    My wrangler is running very poorly. I probably need to check my spark plugs again to make sure they’re not fouled but it’s getting worse. I used to be able to drive on the highway at 70 just fine. And gradually it’s dropping in distance how far I can go without it sputtering and losing all power...
