Parasitic battery drain, possibly from the winch

I bought the winch new two years ago and it has one pull on it. All the connections are good, so I may need to just add a disconnect.

Arizona 1997 TJ Hemi swap from Fat Bob's in Utah

This is a hell of a deal. If I were within a days driving distance I'd take it home. This would be a fantastic rock crawler project. Drop in a set of dana 60's, 40's. and wheel it! :)

Parasitic battery drain, possibly from the winch

After eliminating variables, it appears as though my Warn 9.5XP may be what's been causing my battery to go dead in less than two weeks. If I leave the winch attached, directly, to the battery, after two weeks the battery voltage drops to 10.2 volts. If I disconnect just the winch the battery...

On the fence for this one

I was up front with him. He's ready to let it go, can't physically work on it anymore, and just wants it gone.

On the fence for this one

A friend of mine has a neighbor that's thinking about selling his '99 TJ. He asked me to go take a look at it, to see if I'd be interested. After looking at the Jeep it had several things I liked about it, including: - 4.0L - Automatic - Factory Hard Top with factory wiring (the hard top has...

    What is my TJ worth?

The bolted on frame sections, with control arm mounts, is another indication of rust. Specifically, frame rust.

    It just happened!

Haven't been able to do much on the Jeep lately, but I did have a little time today to install the license plate light @mrblaine sent. As is the case with everything he does, the parts and hardware are 1st class. Hopefully, I didn't screw up the install! FWIW, one thing I noticed was the light...

What would be the best alternative to Savvy for skid plates?

Where did 95 lbs come from? I can't find my numbers, but 40 lbs for everything, including engine skid, would be conservative.

Advice on steering: is this the right way to go?

The factory had one anemic stabilizer and it worked fine. If the front end is setup correctly, you don't need much there.

    SwayLOC setting for an LJ

Driving my TJ and LJ, both with a SwayLoc, I've noticed a significant difference in body roll on the LJ. Both have similar spring and shock setups, and both are set to the outer most hole. For those of you with an LJ, which hole do you set your links in?

Take a closer look at the rust paint over. That makes me immediately suspect, along with the price.

Starting a Wrangler TJ after 3 years

In the USA, 2000 up were coil pack, while 99 and down distributor. Since this is in Poland, not sure if they are the same.

    NP241OR

I've been doing something similar. Spending weeks/months listing nickel and dime parts isn't worth it. I hate throwing good jeep parts out, but go they must!

Definitely the market for parts is terrible now. It took me over 2 months to sell a very nice Dana 44. Not that long ago, at the price I had it listed for, it would have been sold in a day or two. That said, the cost of everything has escalated to the point where I now think hard before spending...
