MS is the same way. I just renewed my tag last week and can get an antique tag when it expires next June. We don’t have any inspections here, but you pay $50 when you get the antique tag and then you never have to pay again.

I haven’t lived in Charlotte in over 10 years, but there used to be a place out on Tryon called Tarheel 4WD. They were great but not cheap. CMD near south Blvd used to be good and reasonable too. I think Almar might be your best bang for the buck to get back on the road.

I think the carrier break on the 30 is 3.54 and down and 3.73 and up. If that is correct, then there’s no reason to get a new carrier. Skip the LS and go lunchbox locker or full case locker like arb or Eaton e-locker. FYI the powertrax no slip is back ordered until at least August.

Are those still the stock upper arms in the front?

I can’t find my gauge to measure the thread pitch, but the head is 10mm. Bolt is about 5/16 (or probably 8mm) and is about 5/8” long. Hopefully that helps.
