HAHA! No doubt. Jeep = Just Empty Every Pocket. Food is overrated anyway ;) Yeah, the grinder just got some new wheels for this project. I just need to get it out of the garage first so the sparks don't ignite all the crap surrounding the TJ. Thanks for your replies! I love the dip...

Great info! Thank you all very much! I had not heard of OSPHO, but will definitely look into it a bit more. The videos were awesome! Seeing the results like that speaks volumes. I am bummed about the bedliner comments, but totally understand why that is a bad idea. At least that will...

Thanks Doc, I just pulled up The Rust Store and Gemplers... When you say it has to be covered with a topcoat, does it need to be done immediately after it cures, or could it wait a month or two? The reason I am wondering is I do not plan to paint the tub right away, but eventually will get to...

Here's what I am working with... bromel - Good to know POR 15 is still one of the 1st to be mentioned. I do remember that one. Not sure I want to apply stuff (Fluid Film) multiple times a year. I have a hard enough time remembering to change my oil! :D:confused:

I tried a search for this topic but did not come across any previous threads. I was a bit surprised by this (I am sure I am not the only one with rust issues!), so if I overlooked any previous threads, please pardon my error and direct me to the proper place. Thanks! I have a few rust spots I...

    Hello from DC

Hello from an ex-Marylander (Silver Spring) and also newbie to the forum. I may be showing my age here, but does anyone remember Paragon in PA? It is long gone now, but was a great spot to break things (like my leaf-spring mount). If y'all make it down to Uwharrie down here in NC, send me a...

Thanks Chris! I have been lucky when it comes to owning fun toys. I still haven't found the one I want the most, though (Cherokee Chief), but I definitely am happy with the TJ. It needs a few upgrades such as a new suspension/lift, body work from rust, tires, rims, paint, and a few other...

Hi Johnny. The first step is admitting we are powerless...and I, too, am a Jeepaholic ;) Thanks for the welcome!

Hello all, I am just stopping in to say hello. I am living in Charlotte, NC, originally from the D.C. area in Maryland, and have lived overseas and in Oklahoma. I am new to this site and new to TJs, but not new to Jeeps. In my previous life (10 - 15 years ago), I owned a slew of CJs and other...
