So the knurl size is the same on all TJ’s? I might try late fronts on the front and early fronts on the rear, if that sounds right? I think the stock studs would be fine since my stock setup from the factory is about the same engagement but I would just feel better if the stud went all the way...

The nuts that mount the wheel are fine, the adapter studs are a good length. I think I need more thread engagement on the stock stud.

I just put adapters on my ‘98 Sahara. The studs on the adapters are just about perfect length but I noticed when using the open end nut to mount the adapter to the hub, the stock studs are really short and the stud doesn’t stick out of the nut at all. New fender flares. Now the tires are really looking dinky! Already have some nice rubicon takeoff wheels. Looking for a set of low mileage 285/70r17 takeoffs now.

What about later seats like from a jk. Is that a possibility?

I heard that they sit lower, did you have to space them up? I haven’t started seriously looking for replacements yet but if I can’t find any with bases is it possible to adapt them to mine? Or is it pretty much impossible without a bunch of welding and fab?

I have a ‘98 Sahara and the drivers seat is shot. What Jeep seats bolt in? I’ve heard 2002ish and up tj seats bolt in but are lower and can be raised with spacers. What about later seats? And what about Cherokee seat, are those a bolt in? I want to stay with Jeep seats and if I missed a post...

Replaced cracked manifold. Sooooo much nicer to drive now. Used a good Felpro gasket and re-torqued all of the bolts once it heat cycled a couple of times. Hope this is the last I see of my exhaust for a while!
