Has anyone with a HP30 or HP44 front axle reported vibration problems? I'm tempted to try this. With my front driveshaft disconnected there is a significant improvement.

I run 3400 or so highway w/ 35's, 32RH 3spd auto and 4.88's. 170k on the engine. Re-geared a few months ago and no trouble yet except 11 mpg.

What did you use for a reference point for centering. I want to check mine. I put a straight edge on the tire and measured the distance from the body. It showed 3/8" difference but I'm not sure the body is the best reference.
