Hi all,
Had my 04 Rubi for about a year now. The rear shocks have been leaking and are in need of replacement. Also experiencing some rubbing (see below). My thought was to go with the Rancho 5000X front and back while I'm doing it, to replace my existing Teraflex shocks.
What I'm trying to...
Actually got a response from KC with a video on how to reassemble. As soon as I figure out how to get it hosted, I will post so any others in my predicament can hopefully find it!
Hi all, could use some help on these old-school (pre-apollo I'm guessing?) fog light replacements.
There were some issues with wiring and blown bulbs so I took them apart to fully clean rather than just replace the H3 bulbs. But I'm having a bit of trouble getting them back together.

First thing I did was counter steered it up onto a curb to avoid hitting someone (icy road, downhill, brakes locked, etc). Roads were super sketchy here in Ft Collins this morning.
After that I successfully replaced my first 02 sensor, Jeep threw a P0135. CEL was off as soon as I fired it back...
Tonight, before my eyes, she underwent an amazing, life-changing transformation. Got rid of those euro-clear lamps and went back to the way it was intended. Took a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and minutes wrenching away, but it was all worth it. ;-)
Finally got my free wheels from Discount Tire put on. Before/after. Also I ordered regular amber side marker and running lights because I just can't get down with the early-2000's euro clear lamp look.
I regret letting this one get away, but needed a back seat for a kiddo. I had a 93 YJ at the time as well. I called them the Tortoise and the Hare. The S2000 was a ton of fun on twisty roads!
I'm not worried, I can see exactly how the issue was isolated to my crappy plastic-y wheels. You can bet I will thoroughly inspect the new ones though!
I get the math, but the peace of mind is worth it to me. Especially the "no questions asked" part on tires I have every intention of pushing to their limits on trails and rocks.
These old MT's have cheap plastic all over them, that's what got torn up by their mounting machine. I don't think your ProComp rims would have had this problem.
You sound like the tire-shop version of a Karen. LOL. I've never had any issues and always had great service, but then again I am not a master wheel balancer so maybe ignorance is bliss.
Hi all, my KM2s were dry rotting, chunking and splitting at the sidewalls. They were manufactured in 2015. PO must have left the jeep out in the sun? Anyway, I decided to go with Duratracs (35x12.5x17) from Discount Tire. Their service has always been good and I'm planning on taking advantage of...
